Z

Sixteen-year-old Josh, a computer ace at hologames, excels at ruthlessly torching zombies - virtual stand-ins for beings thought to be extinct after they (and the virus that infected humans to cause them) were vanquished in the Zombie Wars a generation ago. When he meets fellow-ace Charlie, she introduces him to a potent street drug called "Z" and talks him into playing a variant game in which the zombies may no longer be virtual.
