As a young, broke comedy writer trying to make it in LA, wine was Marissa Ross’s saving grace. All the Time, is the winner of Saveur’s 2015 Blog Awards in the Best Wine Coverage category, and she writes about wine for a variety for websites from Vice to Wine Enthusiast. She’s asked to host tastings and write up wine labels at high-end events from Hollywood to NYC and regularly fields wine recommendation requests from Kelly Oxford to BJ Novak. And it’s also worth noting that she managed all of this while being Mindy Kaling’s personal assistant for four years.

Her book, WINE. ALL THE TIME.: The Casual Guide to Confident Drinking, will follow in the wildly successful steps of such books as MY DRUNK KITCHEN or GRACE’S GUIDE by seamlessly weaving in personal, hilarious anecdotes to educate readers on everything they need to know about wine—from how it’s made, to how to taste it and describe it, to how to buy it for your boyfriend’s discerning parents, to how to drink it in public without getting arrested.

Millenials are consuming over 25% of the wine on the market, and yet pretty much the only guides available to them are geared to baby-boomers. Marissa has hit on something huge, and with her humor, knowledge, and connections, it’s no surprise she’s become the go-to authority for the twenty-something wine-drinking crowd.
