VOTRE IMPACT: Agir en leader

Nicole Simard Yvon Chouinard

MAKING AN IMPACT: How to Act Like a Leader

SIMPLE THINGS THAT ANYONE CAN DO TO MAKE AN IMPACT AND INFLUENCE OTHERS.
DESCRIPTION
Do you wish you could be more influential in your workplace, develop your leadership potential and be a better manager? This book offers food for thought to anyone who wants to make a positive impact and be a leader at work. The impact you make depends a lot on the way others see you. You can't fake genuine interest, and you can't fool your coworkers, but you can behave consistently in a way that will resonate with people and might even inspire them.

EXCERPT
The fact is, we live in a highly competitive world and it's critical for you to find your place. In other words, it's crucial for you to know what you are worth and how your talents, leadership and personality can make a positive impact. People who make an impact know the value of the contribution they bring to an organization. By knowing yourself, you can assert yourself in any situation. We're not talking about engaging in shameless self-promotion, but rather cultivating the ability to show how you can help an organization and its members to achieve their goals. This will enable you to gain visibility and credibility - and help you see how important other people can be when it comes to achieving your goals.
