Marie-Andrée Arsenault is a teacher and an author. In 2014, she won first prize in the Appartenance(s) literary competition organized by the Canada Council for the Arts and Radio-Canada. Her most recent children's book, Des couleurs sur la Grave (Colours on the Shore), won the 2020 Harry Black Children's Picture Book Award.
