UN AMOUR

Louis-Michel Lemonde

A nonchalant, not-so-young boy meets a retired worker in a gay bar. They begin a relationship that defies definition: direct, abrupt and whimsical for the one, and serious for the other. Incense sticks, sweaty sheets, confrontations and quarrels form the uneasy setting for their nascent love. The narrator believes that literature might be dead, so his only desire is to relay the truth of the uniquely merciful liaison he experienced.
