TOMORROW AND TOMORROW

Thomas Carl Sweterlitsch

Tomorrow and Tomorrow is a near-future thriller about an archivist who works in a digital version of Pittsburgh, a kind of immersive library so detailed that it’s indistinguishable from the original city itself, which was destroyed in a nuclear event ten years earlier.
John Dominic Blaxton investigates unsolved deaths in the city archive. He lost his own wife Theresa in the Pittsburgh event, and between his work and his grief, he spends so much time in the archive that it puts his real life in jeopardy.

Sent by his employer to rehab to help him face reality and get back on his feet, Dominic is introduced to a rich and powerful man named Waverly who asks for help finding his daughter Albion, a beautiful girl killed in the blast. After spending years in the archive visiting the re-created image of his dead daughter, Waverly discovers that the last remnants of Albion are being mysteriously deleted from the archive. Dominic isn’t entirely sure why such a powerful man would turn to him, but he does know the archive inside and out, and as he begins to investigate, the mystery of Albion isn’t the only thing he uncovers….

This is Tom Sweterlitsch’s first novel.
