The Zoo of Words

Twenty-two texts are to be found in this book whose main characters are animals, following the tradition of the bestiary books. Using animals such are deers, snails, owls or common birds, the author creates texts with a simple rhythm, repeating sounds, themes or words like a game for children to help them develop their creativity, sensibility and imagination, and to share the pleasure to read out loud or listen to the words just as if it were music. The texts are accompanied by the poetic illustrations of the German picture book artist Sonja Wimmer.
