It’s here she meets a scientific boy genius who wants to cure her, a Kerouac-loving bookworm who wants to save her, and a giant shaman panda who guides her. As she becomes more and more like her father, Sophie travels back to where it all began – New York City. Armed with her best friend and trusty Walkman, Sophie tries to figure out whether her father was madly inventive – or simply mad. As she discovers more about her visions, string theory, and a father who could be the key to it all, she learns to let go – and love a life less ordinary. Kari Luna is a writer, musician, yoga teacher and whimsicologist, based in Portland, Oregon. After a decade of touring in garage bands and writing commercials, she's finally using her imagination for good and is currently hard at work on a sequel called THE THEORY OF SEVENTEEN, and a stand-alone novel called FOREIGN EXCHANGE.
