James Vigor's debut science-fiction, The Reality Exchange is a fast-moving space adventure.

Winter Starling is content with her life as a small-time smuggler on the planet Arali until the day she walks into an ambush. She wakes to find someone has taken control of her spinal implant. They not only have the power of life or death over her, they have embedded a message within it that she can't access. She is given a stark choice.Deliver the message to Earth or the implant will be destroyed and she will die. Knowing neither the originator nor the intended recipient, she leaves behind everything and everyone she has learned to rely on, and races to the spaceport in the desperate hope of finding a way off planet. But if that seems an insurmountable problem, it turns out to be trivial in comparison to what is to come. And what neither Winter nor the person blackmailing her can know, is that what makes her a useful pawn in one person's game will make her useful to someone else in way that no one could have predicted.

James Vigor was born in 1997 and works as a computer games programmer in Bristol, UK. He loves sci-fi and fantasy and has always had a passion for creative writing. He began work on debut science fiction novel, The Reality Exchange, when he was 18 years old.
