THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SKY
Kristen Pettit at HarperCollins has acquired, at auction, North American rights to New York Times bestselling authors Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner's new YA duology THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SKY, a genre-bending romance where "The 100" meets a Miyazaki-inspired fantasy world, in which the prince of a hi-tech city in the sky falls into a goddess's ancient land ruled by magicians and prophecy, blurring the lines between science fiction and fantasy. The three-book deal (including an untitled YA) is scheduled for publication beginning in Fall 2020.
Australian & New Zealand rights to the duology have been acquired by Anna McFarlane at Allen & Unwin.
The main characters, Nimh and North, will endear readers across the globejust as Lilac and Tarver in THESE BROKEN STARS, and Mia and Jules in UNEARTHED, have before.
