Her life takes another turn when, reading a tattered copy of Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Maggie finds the captivating, real-life love letters of two people who have never even met. Armed with all her geek skills, Maggie launches into a quest to reunite the lovers and save Dragonfly from certain demise.

In Love Among the Stacks, readers follow Maggie as she encounters the unexpected consequences of her (often puzzling) adventure, leading her to upend everything she thought was essential, and find out what truly matters most.

Shelly King is a native Southerner who moved to Silicon Valley at the beginning of the Internet boom, and fell in love with the valley and the geeks who live there. She works for a major software company as a social media strategist and information architect. Her stories have been published in the GW Review, Epiphany, Slow Trains, the Dos Passos Review, and the Coe Review. Her stories have also won first place in the Palo Alto Weekly Fiction Contest and second place in The Writer’s Short Story Contest. She has attended the Stanford Continuing Studies program and the Tin House Writer's Workshop, and has studied with Ellen Sussman, Tom Parker, Michelle Richmond, Liz Rosner, and Karen Russell.
