This wonderful middle-grade mystery introduces Abby Force, a 12 year-old spitfire whose life has been turned upside down by a fall from a ladder that's left her father in a coma and seen him accused of trying to rob a client.

This Southern mystery is in the vein of Carl Hiassen and with elements of John Grisham’s Theodore Boone - Abbey Force is definitely one to be reckoned with. John Thompson spent twenty-five years as an investment banker before retiring to write full time.
