The Confessions of a Jade Lord

This story is about a “Jade King” in Xinjiang. After killing someone on purpose, the Jade King fled to Shanghai, where he transformed his face through surgery. Then he went back to Xinjiang and resumed his jade business. After this vicissitude of his life, those who used to be his relatives, lovers, friends and foes all exposed their real face beneath the disguising masks. Therefore Jade King finally realized the nature of money and time. He bestirred himself, ended his past enmities towards others, and was reborn.
