Scarygirl’s world is one of dazzling colour, and her story is a gripping mystery and adventure with the classic storytelling ingredients that children love: a child appearing on the doorstep – Scarygirl; raised by a kindly parental figure – Blister. A happy life is had by all until Scarygirl begins to have recurring disturbing dreams and her need to find out who she truly is becomes more and more urgent. Blister is worried but he knows he can‘t hold her back. So off they go, over mountains, through forests, to the big city and to the laboratory of Dr Maybee. Does that sinister man hold the key to Scarygirl’s identity? Or will he destroy her?
