Oliver is not like other cats. He likes cookies and tea and just wants a friend to join him. Philbert is the shy mouse that lives under Oliver's couch. He tries to get Oliver's attention by writing him notes but Oliver does not seem to notice little Philbert. Mika Song grew up in Manila, Philippines. As a child she wrote letters to a mouse who lived under her mother's desk. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, daughter, and cat. This is her first book as author and illustrator. Mika Song is the recipient of the 2015 Portfolio Award at the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Winter Conference.
