Daniel Loomis's younger brother Iggy accidentally ingests the DNA of a variety of bugs, insects, and icky critters combined with an alien virus. As a result, he is permanently changed. For Daniel, it was bad enough sharing a room with a little brother who throws tantrums and breaks toys. Now he has no idea what to expect: one minute Iggy is completely normal; the next, he might sprout wings and fly around the room or break a door with a burst of superhuman strength.
