SUNNY-SIDE UP

Fiona Woodcock Jacky Davis

Drip, drip, drop. How do you find the sunny side on a rainy day? An effervescent young girl - created by Jacky Davis, author of the New York Times-bestselling Ladybug Girl and award-winning illustrator Fiona Woodcock - keeps gloominess at bay with creativity and imagination. Just right for readers who love Amy Krause Rosenthal, Oge Mora, and the collaborations of Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen.
With breakfast finished, it's time to play! But it's raining, and Dad tells his daughter that she must stay inside. She crafts and she builds, she draws and she bakes. Still, the rain continues to fall. At least until Mom returns home.

Jacky Davis - author of the bestselling Ladybug Girl books - fills the pages with rhythmic text, and acclaimed illustrator Fiona Woodcock's colorful illustrations make this a must-have for storytime and classrooms. Father-daughter time shines in this irresistible story about creativity and solving problems. Young readers will look forward to deciding how their next rainy day will be spent.

Jacky Davis is the author of the New York Times-bestselling LadyBug Girl series and Olive & Pekoe. She lives in upstate New York with her husband, children, and their rescue dog.
