Devoted to Basque-inspired, naturally gluten-free small plates and desserts, SMALL PLATES AND SWEET TREATS will contain 120 original recipes, all accompanied by the author's own beautifully styled photography.
In this cookbook, Aran will introduce scores of new readers to her collection of original, gluten-free recipes, her personal story, and knockout food photography. A trained pastry chef and mother of two Aran has always loved to cook, so when diagnosed with gluten intolerance, she knew she could not settle for a bland, limited diet. Instead, she began cooking delicious gluten-free meals combining the flavors of her heritage in Basque Spain with new food discoveries and her unique artistry.

All recipes will be original to the book, never published on the blog Cannelle et Vanille. Stories from Aran's upbringing in the Spanish Basque country with be woven into every chapter, along with stories from her current life in the U.S. as a working mother of a 4-year-old boy and a one- year-old little girl.

Aran Goyoaga is a food writer, stylist and photographer. A MBA and Culinary School graduate, she is now a freelance photographer, and the author of her award-winning blog Cannelle et Vanille.
