Dee Snider is the outspoken frontman for the multi-platinum selling heavy metal band, Twisted Sister. He is famous for his legendary performances, as well as testifying on Capitol Hill against censorship.

Twisted Sister has global record sales of 12 million copies and has performed over 9000 shows since Snider joined the band in 1976. The appetite for their music has not waned: in November 2011 a five-disc DVD box set, "From The Bars To The Stars," will be released, featuring three decades of live performances. * Snider is also a beloved television personality, regularly appearing on VH1 and Howard Stern, and stars in the A&E reality TV series, Growing Up Twisted. In its first season, the show has averaged approximately .82 million viewers an episode. * Snider will compete on the upcoming fifth season of Celebrity Apprentice, due to air in early 2012. The latest season averaged nearly a million viewers an episode. He will also be featured along with Flava Flav in an upcoming episode of ABC's Celebrity Wife Swap. * Other upcoming television appearances include acting in Holliston, a half-hour horror comedy on the cable channel FEARnet. * Snider also recently starred to widespread acclaim on Broadway in an 11-week run in Rock of Ages. * Since 1997, Snider has served as the host of the nationally syndicated radio program The House of Hair. Featuring heavy metal, glam metal and hard rock music, this weekly show airs on over 200 FM radio stations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. * Snider has proven his lasting cultural relevancy. Alongside other rock icons, he was interviewed for I Want My MTV, an oral history of the music channel by Craig Marks and Rob Tannenbaum (October 2011).
