We are facing a fundamentally new era: an era of Revolt against globalization

Globalization in its current form is not sustainable, the resistance to it is not a passing, short-lived phenomenon, and it will confront us with problems unknown. This portrayal dramatizes the conflict between globalization's achievements (lifting millions out of poverty) and its enormous costs (deepening economic inequality, the refugee crisis, the upsurge of politicized fundamentalism and nationalism).
