RESIST

RESIST is a middle grade collection profiling prominent figures who resisted tyranny, fought the odds, and opposed the dominant forces of their time to bend the arc of history toward truth and justice.

The collection features a mix of racially, ethnically, historically, and geographically diverse figuressome well known, and some you may learn about for the first time in these pages. We will learn each of the subjects' life stories, how they came to be a part of the resistance, and feature memorable quotes which will be sure to inspire readers.

She has written more than a dozen books for young readers, including Plus. She's cowritten New York Times bestselling memoirs with Robin Roberts, Eric Ripert, Michael Strahan, and Marcus Samuelsson. She's a proud alum of the Youth Communication teen journalism program and of Bard College at Simon's Rock.
