Liverpool FC from Anfield are not just any other club: momentous events and historical dramas shaped the rich and illustrious history of the Reds. Football fans associate unforgettable moments of victory with Liverpool FC such as winning the Champions League in 2005 despite being 0-3 behind at halftime or the triumphs against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the 1970s but also the biggest catastrophes in European football, that is Heysel (1985) and Hillsborough (1989). This book recounts the whole history of the club, from its beginnings in 1892 to its most recent successes.
