In Omega Days, the diverse denizens of the San Francisco Bay Area try to survive as communications systems fail, streets are clogged with abandoned cars, and hundreds of people are turned into zombies with every passing second.

A priest with a bloody past reluctantly leads a group of survivors through the San Francisco Tenderloin. A college student who has lost everyone she loves must learn all she can about operating firearms. Escaped San Quentin inmates must survive the dead and each other. A reality show host must utilize her extensive arsenal to keep an eclectic group safe while trying to find a way home to her daughter and husband. A writer attempting to survive alone finds himself drawn into the company of a tight knit family. A Russian military chopper pilot knows that the safest place is in the air, but he must land some time. These groups will find themselves traveling through ravaged landscapes, dodging zombies and other humans until fate finally brings all of their paths together.
