NUNUCHE STORY
A translator of erotic novels, Lena's real life is suddenly invaded by the universe of the books to which she devotes her working hours.
Léna and Thomas love each other tenderly. Result: they're bored silly at home. She smothers her anxieties by writing puff pieces for a women's magazine and by translating Dangereux Louboutins, a series of novels that has revolutionized the erotic on the other side of the Atlantic and is preparing to conquer the soft-porn readers of Europe. Thomas hopes to succeed in the field of ephemeral architecture. In the meantime, he works in an agency devoted to the construction of low-rent housingan area which inspires in him absolutely no interest whatsoever. And then Antonin, a young man who is the spitting image of the hero of Dangereux Louboutins, arrives on the scene and seduces the beautiful Léna in no time at all. After a summer spent in the muscular arms of the insipid young man, Léna realizes that the diabolical posession of which she is the object has gone on far too long. After short work of her break-up with a tearful Antonin, the situation promises to be idyllic. But Léna discovers that Thomas's new co-worker is strangely attached to her mentor. Will Léna's mindless detour of erotic passion, the story of a ninny, prove fatal? Margaux Guyon is 24. After Latex, etc. (Plon, 2011), and Tombeau pour Don Juan (Plon, 2013), Nunuche Story is her third novel. She translates hugely popular American novels, the titles of which we dare not cite here. She lives in Paris.
