Book 2 of CASH CRASH JUBILEE. After committing identity suicide, Amon discovers that he is blind and deaf. The shock to his cognitive system of being disconnected from the ImmaNet was much greater than he expected. Gradually, his vision and hearing return, but he is incredibly thirsty and wonders whether he has already died. He is also plagued by hallucinations and daydreams.

Unlike traditional cyberpunk tales like Neuromancer and The Matrix where cyberspace is a separate world accessed through computer terminals, in this postcyberpunk world the digital and sensory perception have become one. Eli Kirzner is from Toronto but lives and works in Tokyo as a Japanese-English translator. He's been working with one of Japan's largest publishers (Shueisha) on their book translation initiative of THE JUBILEE CYCLE for the last two years, and is currently translating a best-selling literary novel by Naoki Prize-winning author Ryo Asai for publication in early 2015.
