MY TEACHER'S BIG BAD SECRET

Tania Ingram

The first book in an exciting and hilarious adventure series for middle readers, with some truly scary moments reminiscent of Roald Dahl, from a brilliant new writer for younger readers.
WARNING: This series contains magic, witches, talking animals (well, at least one), protective potatoes and a huge amount of fun! Meet Cooper - a biscuit-loving, fast-talking guinea-pig Dr Who, with an uncanny talent for sniffing out trouble...especially witches!

But he's certainly NOT the beautiful golden guinea pig of 10-year-old Jin's dreams. He's trouble with a capital 'T'. Not only can he talk, he can also read, disappear, teleport small distances - skills he loves to use to cause mischief. He's scruffy, opinionated, obsessed with junk food and full of tall tales, but when he sneaks to school in Jin's backpack, he creates even more mayhem. He's convinced that Jin's kindly, elderly teacher Miss Bunney is a witch - a sneaky evil witch who sucks the life essence from unsuspecting children. Come on, Cooper, really?

Tania Ingram grew up in Whyalla as the youngest of three children. She loved to write stories even when she was young and won several awards for her writing as a child. She has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and, up until recently worked as a child psychologist. She is currently taking time out to raise her family and writes whenever she gets a chance. She is an advocate of storytelling and reading to children as much as possible. She believes books are a powerful way for children to explore their feelings, their fears and their world. Tania lives in the Adelaide hills with her family.
