Few board books blend physical awareness, emotional intelligence, and joyful representation as seamlessly as this one. Paquette's rhythmic text explores the many things mouths can do (eat, sing, advocate, comfort), while Khadija's vibrant art and thoughtful use of color celebrate a joyful and diverse range of faces, voices, and experiences. Every page models agency, connection, and kindness. An essential, empowering addition to early literacy, SEL, and identity collections.
