MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER
What would you do if you thought the person you trusted with your life was the one destroying it?
MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER is a dark, upmarket thriller set in the summer of 2018 where a stagnant lethargy hangs over a small corner of Hackney, East London. Jane Williams is coming out of a period of chronic PTSD. An accident the previous June has thrown her reality into disarray. Jane once lived a charmed life. A renowned artist, she had the love of her banker husband Stuart, who is now lost to her. She looked up to and relied upon her beautiful older sister Cecily who helped her manage a chaotic childhood and still controls her business affairs. As Jane starts to piece together what really happened that fateful night in June, she is forced to face up to some hard truths. Did her husband Stuart ever really love her? Was Cecily really looking out for her best interests all these years? The further she delves into the past the more frightening her present becomes.
