MIEUX VIVRE AVEC LA PERSONALITÉ LIMITE
Mélanie-Karine Dubé Rhina Maltez Julie Desrosiers Janie Groulx Catherine Briand
Coping with Borderline Personality Disorder
One book, two points of view: a look at borderline personality disorder through the critical eye of health care professionals and first-hand accounts by sufferers.
This book explores Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) in a spirit of hope and reconciliation, combining researchers' expertise with the experience of people living with the disorder and encompassing a range of topics from anguish and stigmatization to addiction, access to treatment and self-acceptance. The authors explain the four steps to recovery for BPD sufferers and offer practical tools for seeking help. Two of them share their own accounts of experiencing the disorder in their daily lives.
Julie Desrosiers is a psychologist and professor at the School of Social and Teaching Studies (ÉÉSP) in

Catherine Briand is an associate professor at Université de Montréal's School of Rehabilitation and a researcher at the Montreal University Institute for Mental Health Research Centre. She is the founder of the Centre for Studies on Rehabilitation, Recovery and Social Inclusion (CÉRRIS).
Mélanie-Karine Dubé, a French teacher, and Rhina Maltez, a psychosocial worker, are both living with BPD.
