MEQUILIBRIUM
Adam Perlman Jan Bruce Andrew Shatte
14 Days to Cooler, Calmer, Happier
A multiyear effort among top minds in wellness trends, cognitive psychology, and integrative medicine, meQUILIBRIUM is a comprehensive, balanced solution to defang stress and reboot, rebuild, and relax in 14 days.
You can’t annihilate stress. But you can learn to manage it peacefully—and you don’t need to radically change your life to do so. The powerful author team who crafted this book has the research to prove it—with more than a half dozen studies that show significant improvements in how participants feel, focus, manage anxiety, and in their overall sense of life satisfaction. Marrying the whole person, systemic approach of integrative medicine with the science of resilience and the tenets of positive psychology, they created a method that attacks stress on every level. This 3-pronged approach gets at the roots of stress, so it can’t flourish, but you can.
In just 14 days, the authors teach you:
· How to create a new internal operating system…one that’s not set to overwhelm
· How to peacefully co-exist with your stress, while being more productive and more in control each day
· The thinking traps and beliefs that are uniquely yours, and how to navigate around them
· Some surprising ways to add more joy (a great life is not just about subtracting stress)
