LOVE AT 177°

Lisa Peers

Food is their love language, but can they follow a recipe for romance?
When an unexpected and forbidden attraction starts to simmer between judge and contestant on the set of a TV baking competition, both women must decide what they're willing to risk for the ultimate prize in this debut rom-com.
Cookie Queen Kendra (she hates that title) is a celebrity judge on Bake-O-Rama, and her steely gaze and fearsome critiques have been known to leave cookie-makers to completely crumble, not to mention that her love life has been a disaster. Tori, a divorced high school teacher and passionate home baker, isn't sure what to do with herself now that her twins are heading for university, until her kids reveal that they've nominated her for their beloved baking competition show, and much to her surprise, she gets in! Armed with unflappable cheer and a lifelong dream of opening a bakery, Tori dives head first into a world of intricate bakes, reality show sabotage, and a disarmingly gorgeous judge.

Of course any glimmer of romance between judges and contestants is contractually forbidden, but Tori and Kendra can't ignore their growing admiration for each other...

Sparks fly in this delightful debut lesbian rom-com set in Sonoma wine country that's as warm and satisfying as a chocolate lava cake.
