LLAMA DRAMA, tells the tale of the author's epic adventure, cycling the length of South America.

Why take the shortest, most direct route through life, when you could choose the wiggliest, most mountainous one?

Armed with a limited grasp of Spanish and determined to meet as many llamas as possible, Anna and her friend Faye set off on a 6-month journey to cycle along the spine of the largest mountain range in the world -- the Andes. Beginning in the bustling city of La Paz, Bolivia, the duo pedal south - through dense jungle, across pristine white salt flats and past towering volcanoes, determined to make it to the Southern most tip of Chile.

Sleeping wild in their tents most nights, Anna and Faye have to endure 50-mph crosswinds, catastrophic crashes, and lots of negotiations with bemused locals. By the time they make it to the southernmost tip of the continent, they have cycled 5,500 miles and ascended over 100,000
metres -- the equivalent to 11 times the height of Everest.

Told from the seat of Anna's bicycle, LLAMA DRAMA is a witty and compelling account of life at its rawest and most rich.

Anna McNuff became a self-publishing phenomenon in 2017 when she released her first book, THE PANTS OF PERSPECTIVE, a travelogue detailing her journey running the length of both of New Zealand's islands. She has since gone on to win the Kindle Storyteller Award (2020), appear on BBC Breakfast and perform as an inspirational speaker to thousands of school children and corporate clients including Google, Adobe and Deloitte. Anna is currently writing her fourth book about her time running the equivalent of ninety back-to-back marathons across Britain barefoot.
