L'IRRESISTIBILE ATTRAZIONE DELLA GRAVITA

Luciano Rezzolla

An internationally famous astrophysicist explains gravity in a reader-friendly way to make complex matters understandable to the wider public.
Gravity affects everything. Our understanding of it, however, is partial at best. Luciano Rezzola explains the difference between the Newtonian and the Einsteinian concepts to show how celestial bodies move and why there are black holes. Rezzola lead the group of scientists who managed to take the first image of black hole and knows, how these structures help us understand gravitational force and the nature of the universe. Prof. Dr. Luciano Rezzolla holds the Chair of Theoretial Relativistic Astrophysics at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Goethe University, Frankfurt. In 2019 he was awarded the Prize "Physicist of the Year 2019". He has published six academic studies in book volume and countless research papers. He teaches at ITP Frankfurt.
