LIGHTS, CAMERA, LOVE
A delightful and delicious contemporary romance that is complex, playful and very funny!
Hip-hop dance teacher Evie Scott's life is upended when her financially irresponsible mother moves in, forcing Evie to struggle to make ends meet. Her luck turns when she lands the lead role in a romantic dance movie opposite her teenage crush, Austin Reynolds.
Kye Evans, Austin's grumpy manager and longtime best friend, carries the weight of a troubled past, including guilt over a kiss with Austin's ex-wife. Now a successful publicist, Kye is unhappy managing Austin's career but feels trapped by his remorse. When the film's eccentric director jeopardizes the project, Kye convinces Austin and Evie to fake a public romance to boost the movie's chances.
The job not only promises Evie financial stability, but offers her a chance at finding love with Austin both on and off screen. So why is it that she can't seem to take her eyes off Kye?
As Evie and Kye spend time together, their attraction grows stronger, but Kye fears hurting Austin again. Will there be a way for them to find happiness with each other?
Natalie Murray is an Australian author who writes romance with all the feels and swoons. Her debut adult contemporary romance, Love, Just In, was published by Allen & Unwin in 2024. Natalie is also the author of the time travel romance series Emmie and the Tudor King, which is currently in development for television by Ambience Entertainment. She also co-writes contemporary romance with US fantasy romance author Jenny Hickman, writing as Jenny Fyfe.? Before becoming an author, Natalie was an entertainment reporter for Sky News, where she interviewed high-profile celebrities such as Elton John, Angelina Jolie, Sylvester Stallone, Dustin Hoffman, Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld. Natalie grew up in Sydney, Australia, and is the daughter of cookbook author Eva Stovern and the late Australian football icon Les Murray. When she's not writing books, you can find Natalie clinging to her family (literally; she's super affectionate), packing or unpacking a suitcase, making lists of things she'll never have time for because she's too busy making lists, or playing on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
