Mel Calman was one of the best-known British cartoonists of the 20th century, publishing in the Daily Express, the Observer, the Sunday Times, and the Times, among others. His work was widely syndicated in the U.S., especially in the Chicago Sun-Times, the New York Times, and Cosmopolitan magazine. He also published more than 20 collections of cartoons. Stephanie Calman is the daughter of Mel Calman and the author of Confessions of a Bad Mother, Confessions of a Failed Grown-Up, Dressing for Breakfast, Gentleman Prefer My Sister, How (Not) to Murder Your Mother, and How (Not) to Murder Your Husband.

Michael Palin is an English comedian, actor, writer, and television presenter. He was one of the founder members of the comedy group Monty Python, has made a number of travel documentaries and acted in a number of movies, including A Fish Called Wanda.
