A screenwriting instructor, author, and scriptwriter for over thirty years, Dominique Drouin learned her trade alongside her grandmother, Mia Riddez, co-writing the scripts for Terre humaine and Le Grand Remous with her. Since then, she has written the scripts for a number of TV projects, including Les Poupées russes, Les Grands Procès, Ramdam, and Watatatow. Since 2014, she has written the De mères en filles tetralogy, published by Libre Expression. This was followed by the novels Julie, Hélène, Réjanne, Alicia, Marie-Pier, and Ingrid, complementing the TV series Yamaska.
