Scientific breakthroughs have destroyed the caricature: on the contrary, science reveals a humankind that was diverse, sentient, inventive and turned towards the first forms of art and even spirituality. ERIC PINCAS is the managing editor of Historia magazine. He distinguished himself in 2014 with the success of his book Qui a tué Neandertal ? (Who killed Neanderthal?) (Éditions Michalon), and then co-wrote the television version. This documentary (1.3 million viewers on the France 5 channel in 2018) won five awards at the biggest archaeology film festivals. The author has just co-written, with the same team, the script for the documentary Lady Sapiens, scheduled for next year on the same channel.
