In 2009, prolific actress Jennifer Esposito was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Finally, she had an answer after years of undiagnosed, crippling health problems. The recovery involved a lifestyle change. She found her way to a gluten-free diet, and three years later she opened up Jennifer’s Way Bakery, a Manhattan institution with a star-studded clientele that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Harvey Weinstein, and Melissa McCarthy. Chef Michael Symon, restauranteur and host of multiple shows on The Food Network, called Jennifer’s Way one of his “favorite bakeries in the city.”

Regular Mario Batali says, “truly delicious.” Today, the bakery has evolved into a retail and wholesale empire, with a 17,000 square foot, completely gluten-, soy-, dairy-, nut-, egg- and GMO-free facility to accompany the store.

This cookbook is filled with recipes for the bakery treats from Jennifer’s Way Bakery, but it also include meals for everyday life and cleansing recipes for healing to reflect the lifestyle that is Jennifer’s Way.

This past year, Jennifer starred in NCIS, the most popular television program in the world. She was just cast as the lead in the feature film Speed Kills opposite John Travolta, which is shooting this month.
