Greg Pizzoli is an author, illustrator, and screen printer. His first picture book, The Watermelon Seed, was the 2014 recipient of the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award, and his book Good Night Owl was a Geisel Honor. His Viking nonfiction picture book Tricky Vic was a New York Times Best Illustrated of 2015. Greg spent two years as a full-time volunteer in AmeriCORPS from 2005-2006 and currently lives with his wife in Philadelphia where he teaches at the University of the Arts.
