IF DINOSAURS LIVED IN MY TOWN
Bob Eggleton Marianne Plumridge
What would you do if you saw dinosaurs playing baseball, joining the marching band, or even cooking spaghetti?
Imagine a town where dinosaurs never went extinct. What would you do? Would you frantically run away and hide under your bed? Or would eat hamburgers with a Tyrannosaurus rex; go fishing with a Rhamphorhynchus; or travel through space with a Coelophysis? The possibilities are endless!
To capitalize on early years' fascination with dinosaurs, the creatures are spied out of their natural habitats in crazy settings to give children a sense of the scale of these amazing creatures. Fully-realized, to-scale illustrations are superimposed on actual photographs, and each dino is portrayed in a way that children can immediately understand and relate to. With whimsy and creativity, children about the size and essential characteristics of 30 different dinosaurs, with memorable and amazing visuals.
