As a successful singer and actress with a huge social media following you would think Keke Palmer hasn’t struggled much in life. But she has grappled with many of the same issues everyone wrestles with—identity, peer pressure, success, love, and family. Since she has had many experiences that pushed her out of her comfort zone and had to redefine herself time and time again, she has concluded that there is no limits to what she can achieve when she is herself. Keke Palmer is an actress, singer, author, and humanitarian, appearing in films such as Akeelah and the Bee, Barbershop 2, Madea’s Family Reunion, Longshots, Joyful Noise, Ice Age: Continental Drift, and The Secret of the Lost Kingdom. She starred on the Nickelodeon television series True Jackson, VP; guest-starred on Masters of Sex; and in 2014, she became the first black Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical on Broadway. She now enjoys success on the TV screen with her current starring role with Lea Michelle, Joe Jonas, Ariana Grande, and Jamie Lee Curtis in Ryan Murphy’s hit show on Fox, Scream Queens. In 2016 she appeared in Grease: Live, a Fox live musical television special and will appear in Ice Age: Collision Course. She is currently recording her second full album.
