And so I approached the entire book like I relate to my friends. They're your source of strength, and if you're not giving them the truth then they're not able to help you with whatever it is you're going through. The truth becomes very important in order for anybody to actually make an impact on other people's lives." Charity G. Finnestadmoved from Oregon to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. I heard my wife laugh as she was reading a book on her iPad. I asked what she was reading and it was Hollywood in Heels. 'It’s chic lit,' she said, 'not your thing.' I picked it up when she wasn’t around and she was right, it wasn’t my thing. I thought about that again several hours later when I’d finished reading it.
