N. D. Wilson is a professional writer and daydreamer, a goof, and a father of goofs. Forrest Dickison was born and raised in Moscow, Idaho. He spent his ninja days flying down hills of freshly cut grass on scraps of cardboard, catching the wind in bed sheets, and hunting for turtles. He currently illustrates children's books, paints landscapes, and works in animation. He and his wife have a young daughter, who is quickly learning how to ninja for herself.
