GRAIL PRINCE
The Queen of Camelot Trilogy #3
GRAIL PRINCE (Originally published by Del Ray in 2003)
King Arthur lies dead, struck down along with Mordred, his son and heir, and the greatest knights of Camelot. Of that peerless company, only Lancelot survives, a broken man who has turned his back on Britain and his forbidden love of Guinevere. Yet one knight, scarcely more than a boy, fights amid the ruins to keep Arthur's dream alive: Galahad, the son of Lancelot. Before his death, Arthur swore the young knight to undertake a quest: a search for the scattered treasures of an ancient king. On the recovery of these powerful relicsa grail, a spear, and a sword hinges the future of Britain.
But it is the past that torments Galahad. He cannot forget or forgive his father's betrayal of his king. Nor can he banish thoughts of the intoxicating Dandrane, sister of his friend Percival, from his mind. But can he set all this
aside in order to complete his sacred task?
Nancy McKenzie's first two novels, The Child Queen (1994) and The High Queen (1995), were handwritten in notebooks in school parking lots and all sorts of waiting roomsthe only available spare time when raising three young childrenand were typed into her primitive desktop Mac late each night. These books were republished in a single volume as Queen of Camelot in 2002. She is also the author of Grail Prince, the story of Galahad (2003), and Prince of Dreams, the story of Tristan & Essylte (2004). Guinevere's Gift and Guinevere's Gamble, two young adult novels, came out in 2008 and 2009.
