Growing up, Mike McHargue was a walking contradiction: a card-carrying, evangelical Sunday school teacher and a self-proclaimed science nerd who worshipped Carl Sagan and taught himself to program computers in the fourth grade. But at age 25, Mike was thrown into a crisis of faith when his parents announced that they were getting a divorce. Devastated by the news, Mike read through the Bible three times over the course of a year, looking for answers, but the Bible didn't help.
