FAR AND AWAY

Following in the tradition of Ghost Rider and Traveling Music, Rush drummer Neil Peart lets us ride along on his numerous road trips, sharing his experiences in personal reflections and full-color photos. Over the course of four years, Neil describes the band's writing and practice habits as well as is own extended motorcycle trips between concerts. We follow him to the Drum Studio, in rehearsal with Alex and Geddy, on the backroads with Michael and Brutus, all over America and into Europe.

Fans will discover a more intimate side to his very private personal life, and will enjoy his observations of natural phenomena. At one point, Neil anxiously describes the birth of two hummingbirds in his backyard; at the same time, his wife is preparing for the birth of their daughter - a striking synchronicity tenderly related to readers.
