DRINKING WITH MY DOG
The Canine Lover's Cocktail Book
Full of fun, informative history and delicious, easy-to-make drink recipes, this is the cocktail book we've always needed to help us raise a glass to wo/man's best friend.
If there is one thing we know, it's that you can survive anything with a furry companion and a cocktail by your side. Drinking with My Dog is a charming, pet-centric cocktail book that combines our devotion to dogs with our mixology skills, from renowned mixologist, founder of The Liquid Muse, and passionate animal advocate Natalie Bovis.
Inside you'll find everything you need to know to set up your home bar, as well as 60 delicious drink recipes and cocktail history organized into dog-themed chapters (think: rescue dogs, famous furbabies, wild dogs, etc.). Featured alongside the recipes are whimsical illustrations and sidebars on favorite dog breeds and doggie trivia throughout. Drinking with My Dog is the ideal gift book for dog lovers and cocktail enthusiasts alike.
Natalie Bovis is an award-winning mixologist, culinary event producer, and writer with a passion for cocktails and animal advocacy. She founded The Liquid Muse in 2006 and penned three cocktail books, including the bestselling Preggatinis (Globe Pequot, 2009). She is the co-founder/CMO of OM Chocolate Liqueur, a line of organic liqueurs with national distribution, and teaches mixology classes to global audiences online. She has won many awards including Edible magazine's "Local Hero in Mixology," and Wine & Spirits' Wholesalers Association's "Entrepreneur of the Year."
Rae Ritchie is a fabric designer and illustrator for greeting cards, stationery, gifts, and apparel, where her work is often inspired by the lushness of nature, classic children's books, and old photographs.
