DRAGONS LOVE TACOS 2

Adam Rubin Daniel Salmieri

The Sequel

The hilarious sequel to the smokin’ hot New York Times bestseller, perfect for story time.
Listen, don't freak out, but I have some terrible news: There are no tacos left anywhere in the entire world! That's a huge problem because, as you know, dragons love tacos. We've got to do something! I know, let's fire up that time machine in the garage and go back in time, to before tacos went extinct. Then we can grab lots of tacos and bring them back with us. Just be sure you don't grab any tacos with spicy salsa. You remember what happened last time...

The award-winning creators of Robo-Sauce and Secret Pizza Party return with a gut-bustingly hilarious companion to the bestselling phenomenon Dragons Love Tacos.

Adam Rubin is the New York Times bestselling author of a half dozen critically acclaimed picture books including Secret Pizza Party and Robo-Sauce. He spent ten years working as a creative director in the advertising industry before leaving his day job to write full-time. Adam has a keen interest in improv comedy, camping, and magic tricks. He lives in New York, New York.

Daniel Salmieri is the New York Times bestselling illustrator of many fantastic picture books, including Secret Pizza Party and Robo-Sauce. Dragons Love Tacos 2 has so many silly moments and little jokes; children will always laugh at diapers. This book was a big hit at my house, and I’m sure that I’m going to be hearing about dragons and spicy salsa for the next few weeks!

Minnesota Public Radio included DLT 2 in their ‘Best Books of Summer’ roundup this week.

This week it debuted as #1 on the New York Times and Indie Bestseller lists!

It'll read just like the comforting sound of a good friend's laughter. The zany companion to Dragons Love Tacos promises to be as gut-bustlingly ridiculous and yes-I'll-gladly-read-it-again-and-again entertaining as the first.

This sequel’s dialed-up energy and absurdity remain a tasty—and very funny—combination.

Both books will lead to cravings for tacos, nachos, and salsa (both spicy and mild) after reading. Plan accordingly.

As Rubin puts it, 'dragons love diapers. I mean, tacos. Dragons love tacos. / Heck, everyone loves tacos.' Most young readers, even those in diapers, would agree.

Sequels can sometimes be a let down, but this book has a good shelf life—Adam Rubin and Daniel Salmieri have maintained quality, freshness and readability.

Parents (circ: 2.2 million) included Dragons Love Tacos 2: the Sequel in their June issue! “In the much-anticipated sequel…climb aboard for a scaly trip packed with wacky pit stops along the way.”

Everyone’s going to love Dragons Love Tacos 2. It’s got the same twisted sense of humor, the same hilarious, deadpan rhythm. Salmieri has the same wacky illustrative style…In a future Wes Anderson film, some child will claim Dragons Love Tacos 2 as his favorite book.

This zany time-travel adventure dives head-first into the absurd with a story sure to amuse young fans of the first book.
