DOES EARTH FEEL?

Marc Majewski

What does Earth feel? In a stunning and ever-timely picture book offering that marries the themes of environmentalism and emotional intelligence, debut author- illustrator Marc Majewski asks fourteen probing questions to encourage active thinking about our one and only planet.
Does Earth feel calm? Does Earth feel curious? Does Earth feel hurt? Does Earth feel heard?

In spare prose paired with evocative paintings, author-illustrator Marc Majewski poses 14 engaging questions and implores readers to think more deeply about what our only planet is telling us, ultimately asking - what do you want Earth to feel?

A timely environmentalist message: The deceptively simple text follows a compelling narrative. The book introduces readers to how Earth began and shows how humans have twisted that relationship into something unsustainable. By humanizing mother nature, young readers will begin to feel more deeply and empathize with how our actions directly impact our planet.

Next generation leaders: Kid activists like Great Thunberg, Autumn Peltier, Mari Copeny, and many more are leading the way with climate strikes, rallies, and demands for change to our world leaders. Does Earth Feel? helps to inspire the next generation of kids to think about empathy, environmentalism, and where the change can begin.

Marc Majewski is a French author-illustrator based in Berlin. Marc is passionate about the environment, and loves painting landscapes and scenes from the natural world.
