Andrea Bemis is the writer, recipe developer, and photographer behind DishingUptheDirt.com, a food blog that chronicles life on Tumbleweed Farm, the six-acre organic farm that she and her husband Taylor own and operate in Oregon. They run a 50 member CSA program and sell their vegetables to the local farmers market and restaurants in their community, but Andrea's blog and its simple yet creative recipes attract a devoted readership from across the country. Prior to becoming full time farmers, Andrea and Taylor dabbled in various career paths: ski bums, baristas, and caretakers of the Ralph Waldo Emerson estate, to name a few.
